Septone 500mL Rust Converter

Septone Rust Converter, available at The Grit, is a powerful solution for treating and preventing rust on various metal surfaces. This 500-millilitre bottle contains a concentrated phosphoric acid-based formula that chemically converts existing rust (iron oxide) into iron phosphate. This conversion process not only neutralises the rust but also creates a stable, inert surface that acts as an excellent primer for subsequent protective coatings, like paint. It is designed to be used as a pre-painting treatment, but can also be used in other applications. This versatile product can be used on a wide range of rusted metal items, including galvanised roofs and surfaces, ornamental ironwork, fencing, structural steel, automotive panels, and even rusted nuts, bolts, and hand tools. In addition to its rust-converting properties, Septone Rust Converter can also be used to remove rust stains from surfaces such as porcelain, marble, and terrazzo.
