This steel is chosen for its exceptional sharpness, edge stability, and corrosion resistance. In the case of this knife, Ruike takes the 14C28N steel through an intensive process, including quenching and cryogenic treatment, resulting in an optimal hardness rating of 58~60 HRC.

Ruike knife handles are crafted from a blend of fiberglass and resin, providing these knives with the strength to endure rigorous use and resist scrapes and general wear and tear.
