The original Elementum stood out as a straightforward, efficient utility folding knife, focusing purely on functionality. While it wasn't quite large enough for self-defense purposes, its design characteristics made it an exceptional EDC blade, arguably CIVIVI's finest, in our view. This was largely due to its slim, ergonomically designed handle that was comfortable to use without any uncomfortable pressure points, coupled with its practical, no-nonsense design. The drop point blade flowed seamlessly into a handle that felt like an extension of the hand, while the textured scales ensured a firm grip and the deep carry clip provided secure attachment to your pocket. Designed for convenience in carrying, some users did express a desire for safer handling during closure. In response, the Button Lock Elementum II was introduced, maintaining the same size as the original but with enhanced features.
